Your California Privacy Rights. California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents who have provided personal information (as defined by statute) to us or our third party advertisers and marketing partners, if any, to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. Requests should be submitted via e-mail to admin@MedicalCareersDirect.comand should include CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS in the subject line. We will need your first and last name, mailing address and e-mail address in order to process your request. Within thirty days of receiving such a request, we will provide a list of the categories of personal information disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes during the immediately preceding calendar year, if any, along with the names and addresses of these third parties, if any. Please be aware that not all information sharing is covered by the requirements of Section 1798.83 and only information on covered sharing will be included in our response. This request may be made no more than once per calendar year.
Personally-identifying information is collected when you voluntarily provide such information to Company (“Personal Information”). Personal Information we collect may include one or more of the following categories: educational, employment or employer. Educational Personal Information collected may include, but is not limited to, your first and last name, mailing address, phone number, e-mail address, year you graduated high school, age, educational history, military affiliation, and program of interest. Employment Personal Information collected may include, but is not limited to, your first and last name, mailing address, phone number, e-mail address, resume, age, gender, highest level of education completed, employment history, salary, language proficiency, job skills and proficiencies, criminal history, military affiliation, driving record, scheduling preferences and availability, licenses, certificates, or other qualifications. Employer Personal Information collected may include, but is not limited to, your first and last name, mailing address, phone number, and e-mail address.
Company may also get Personal Information from third party vendors with whom we contract to advertise on behalf of Company and our clients (“Affiliate”) when you voluntarily provide such information to an Affiliate and request information about one of Company’s clients or otherwise request our services. Company may also get data from our customers and other third parties that help us understand online activity and improve efficiency. For example, a customer may tell us how you responded to an ad, whether you enroll in an educational program or are hired to measure the effectiveness of and improve the quality of our services. If you communicate to us by e-mail, we will record the e-mail address from which you send your message. Any telephone calls to and from Company may be monitored and recorded for quality assurance and training purposes.
Non-personally identifying information or “Aggregate Information” is information that, without the aid of additional information, cannot be directly associated with a specific person. Like most website operators, we collect Aggregate Information about your activities online including referring / exit pages and URLs, computer settings, number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, and other such information through the use of the methods described below. If you have voluntarily disclosed Personal Information to Company, some or all of the Aggregate Information may be linked to your Personal Information.
Pixel Tags. Company and our third party advertising partners use pixel tags. Pixel tags (a.k.a. clear gifs or web beacons) are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, that allow us to monitor the use of the Website and to deliver banner advertisements to you about our products and services as you browse the Internet. Pixel tags generally work in conjunction with cookies, registering when a particular computer visits a particular page. You cannot decline pixel tags; however, if you turn off cookies the pixel tag will simply detect an anonymous website visit. In addition, we use pixel tags in our HTML-based emails to let us know which emails have been opened by the recipients. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. If you do not want to receive these pixel tags you can opt-out of these emails or change the type of e-mail you receive to text only.
Internet Protocol Address. Company’s servers also automatically identify your computer by its Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer by your Internet service provider. Your IP address does not identify you by name; however, it may reveal your geographic area and your Internet service provider.
Click-Through URLS. Company may send you e-mail messages with a “click-through URL” linked to the content of the Website. When you click onto one of these URLs, you will pass through our server before arriving at the destination webpage. Company may track this click-through data to help us determine subscriber interest in the subject matter and measure the effectiveness of our subscriber communications. You can avoid being tracked simply by not clicking on any links or images in the e-mail.
Domain Name Tracking. When you visit the Website, we automatically record the name of the domain name and URL from which you accessed the Website. Additionally, if you got to the Website by means of a link from another site, our computers will note the fact that you came to us from that linked site. We may also record the domain name and URL for the next website you go to after leaving the Website.
Company may use User Information to advertise to individuals using direct mail marketing, e-mail marketing, text marketing or telemarketing using telephones and cell phones. When you voluntarily submit Personal Information through an online application, request for information or otherwise, you consent to receive further communications via telephone, mail, email, and/or texts and will be contacted by potential employers and schools from whom you have requested information. You may also be contacted by Company, one of our Service Providers or other third party regarding employment opportunities or alternative offers from other schools.
E-mail and Text Opt-out. If you no longer wish to receive our promotional e-mail communications, you may opt-out of receiving these communications by clicking on the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of the marketing emails or by emailing us at unsubscribe@MedicalCareersDirect.com. Users who no longer wish to receive our promotional texts may opt-out of receiving these texts by replying “STOP”, “END”, “QUIT” to the text message you have received.
RSS. If you subscribe to our RSS feed, you consent to have new content pushed to your Internet browser when it becomes available. RSS feeds are generally controlled by your web browser and must be unsubscribed using the settings in your browser.
Company may share Aggregate Information with third parties for advertising and promotional purposes. We may also use third-party companies to assist in collection and analysis of data collected through the use of pixel tags.
Products or Service Requests. If you submit a request for a product or service on the Website, Company discloses your Personal Information to third-parties to whom you explicitly ask us to send your information such as employers and schools.
Service Providers. We may disclose your User Information to third parties service providers hired to perform internal business functions on our behalf, including but not limited to, providing marketing assistance, sending direct mail or email, website or database hosting companies, e-mail service providers, analytics companies, and third party call centers (“Service Providers”). Unless otherwise stated, these companies do not have any right to use the Personal Information we provide to them beyond what is necessary for them to assist us.
Non-Affiliated Companies: Company may sell or share some Personal Information with non-affiliated third parties, to provide a product or service that may be of interest to you or for that party’s own marketing purposes.
User Disclosures. Some Personal Information is disclosed as a matter of course as a result of your use of any public forums that may be available on the Website and third party applications provided on the Website, such as Facebook or Twitter. Any information shared via these public forums and third party applications may become public information. We cannot control the use of information you voluntarily disclose in public forums, such as social media sites, bulletin boards, blogs, chat rooms, wiki and networking functions of mobile applications. You should exercise caution when disclosing information in these public areas, especially your Location-Data, and be careful how you disclose your personal information. Content posted in public areas of the Website and Company social media pages, including advice and opinions, represents the views and is the responsibility of those who post the content. We do not necessarily endorse, support, verify, or agree with the content posted. Business Transitions. Company reserves the right to transfer all User Information in its possession in the event Company goes through a business transition, such as a merger, being acquired by another company, or selling a portion of its assets. Similarly, your User Information may be passed on to a successor in interest in the event of a reorganization, reconstruction, liquidation, bankruptcy or administration. You will not be notified of any such change of ownership or control of your User Information.
If you provide your telephone number to us, you are expressly waiving any and all rights that you may have otherwise obtained by listing such telephone number on a do not call registry and consent to receive telephone calls relating to the goods or services you have requested. Company, our Service Providers, and other third parties may contact you by telephone (including, by autodialer, where applicable), e-mail, or mail based on the information you provided to through the Website, even if you have opted into the National Do Not Call List administered by the Federal Trade Commission, any state equivalent Do Not Call List, or the Do Not Call List of a specific company.
This Website is intended for adult use only and is not directed towards children, minors or anyone under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 13, you are not authorized to provide us with personally identifying information. If the parent or guardian of a child under 13 believes that their child has provided us with any personal data, the parent or guardian of that child should contact our us at the address below and ask to have this personal information deleted from our files. We appreciate your cooperation with this federally mandated requirement.

Therefore, we cannot guarantee that your submissions to the Website, any content residing on our servers, or any transmissions from our server will be completely secure.
